The College of Southern Maryland’s Ritmo Caché Latin Ensemble brings the vibrant rhythms of Latin America to life, performing an exciting mix of Salsa, Mexican, Afro-Cuban, Merengue, and Latin Jazz. Comprised of a full “big band” of twenty musicians, the ensemble also features a combo of eight performers for select engagements.

Open to both CSM students and community members, Ritmo Caché is united by a shared passion for Latin music and culture. Their performances are rich in energy, rhythm, and authenticity—delivering a lively, danceable experience that celebrates the spirit and diversity of Latin-American music.

The WAR Tribute Band
Based in the Washington, D.C. area, RAW Band delivers a high-energy tribute to the legendary sound and spirit of WAR. Fronted by the electrifying Ron Scott, the band brings funk, soul, Latin rhythms, and jazz together in a powerful, crowd-moving experience rooted in unity and groove.

From festivals to concert stages, RAW creates an atmosphere that gets audiences dancing, singing, and fully engaged from start to finish. More than a tribute band, they embody the energy, message, and cultural fusion that made WAR unforgettable—proving the groove still lives on.

kevin howard

National recording artist Kevin Howard is a world-class keyboardist, writer, composer and producer. Born and raised in Pittsburgh PA and now living in Southern Maryland, Kevin recently toured as the musical director for the legendary Ronnie Laws; has recorded and performed with Marion Meadows, Najee, and George Benson, to name a few. He has also shared the stage with Jonathan Butler, Cameo, Roy Ayers, Pieces of a Dream, Joe McBride and John Legend. Notably, Kevin is a staple at Blues Alley in Washington D.C. 

Kevin is also the featured artist for the 2026 Jazz & Wine Music Series at Corteau Vineyards (April-Sept).
